GoPro photography in San Diego

My first shot using a GoPro, pictured at Moonlight Beach, San Diego, California, USA. I really love the almost fisheye lens effect it gives on perspectives.

LA editorial with James Pitt

Here are some images from my recent fashion editorial with male model James Pitt. I like to shoot some of my fashion stories in traffic, it's always going to get cars honking horns but is always exciting especially when you're shooting in Downtown LA.

New work with Kelly Gray in LA

New swimwear work with Kelly Gray at Next Models that I shot during my stay in Echo Park, Downtown LA. We shot some fabulous looks around the pool and around the park. The deep contrast and inky black edit gives the shot a certain kind of mood that's a little bit different for this kind of photography.

San Diego, The City By The Sea

During my last trip to the USA I spent a week in San Diego, California mostly shooting sunsets and coastlines. San Diego is a city 2 hours drive from Los Angeles, it's filled with stunning coastlines, aqua blue water and palm trees. 

There are some amazing restaurants with delicious tacos and Mexican food.

Joshua Tree

During my summer stay in America I was lucky enough to spend some time in in LA with my good friends Carlos and Ashlee who told me all about Joshua Tree's amazing landscapes, rocks and cacti. I also heard some stories about people camping out in the desert and eating Native American magic mushrooms for a spiritual experience. The next day we decided to set with Braxton the dog of for a day in the desert and check out the amazing nature and rock formations there there.

Joshua Tree National Park is located 2 hours drive east of Los Angeles, California. During the drive there we passed some indian reservations and some curious lone houses way out in the desert miles away from any town or signs of life.

We happened to visit on one of the hottest days of the year, it was pushing 47 degrees C (115 degrees F) This was around the same time that the hottest day of the year.

Joshua Tree forms the parts of two deserts, the higher being the Mojave Desert and the lower being the Colorado Desert.

We had fun hunting for Night Gecko's which unfortunately were the only creatures we saw. Due to the searing heat we only stayed outside of the car for around 15 minutes before getting back in the car and cooling off.
