Shades for Days for Fashionsing.com

A scene made of busy streets, intense traffic and a massive sea of people walking side-by-side even though their destinations are set at poles apart. In the midst of them all, somewhere in the heart of New York City, a beautiful Anna Cariad plays it effortless, her nonchalance seemingly unaffected, her off-duty outfits fitted to mirror the uncomplicated kind of sexy.

Behind the lens is Simon Ackerman, ready to take the pulse of the city as he follows his muse for the day – her rocking cool shades and short-shorts, feeling pretty and looking decidedly so.

Shooting Around New York City

This trip I had a little more time to get some travel photos. There was a mix of weather to play with as there was sunshine, rain, moody clouds and blue sky all throughout the week. Here are some of my favourite shots:

Lower Manhattan and the Empire State Building viewed from the Rockefeller Center Observatory.

Empire State Building from street level.

Sunshine on a rainy day in Chinatown.

Freedom Tower at night shot from Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

My roommate and superb city guilde Edward Arrocha AKA Eak The Geek.
