Finale at New York Fashion Week

One of the only times I've used a push pull lens and used it to get this kind of effect which is usually a post production method in Photoshop. Photographed using the particularly heavy Canon EF 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6 USM L IS at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York City, USA.

Backstage at The Blonds

The blonds had some amazingly creative ideas for their Spring 2014 show which made way for lots of interesting subjects to shoot. Here's my shots from their New York show in September. There was amazing makeup and Phillipe and David Blond's shows overall style appeared to be inspired by the Vulcans in Star Trek.

It was difficult for one of the models to do the Vulcan sign when I asked them to do it, much to the amusement of the other model!

Ginta Lapina at Herve Leger

Latvian model Ginta Lapina always has an amazing presence when on the runway. Here is a shot of her from more of a profile perspective during the Herve Leger show at NYFW. During Fashion Week the shots that are sent to press are usually a standard full length, three quarter length, head shot or detail. Sometimes it's great to be creative and see a a bit of a different perspective of runway images outside of magazines.

I'll add some more images from this great Roman Empire inspired collection soon and also more shots of Ginta Lapina herself.
